What breed are Big Biscuit and Huney?
Big Biscuit and Huney are Newfoundlands, affectionately known as "Newfies." These magnificent gentle giants are renowned for their sweet temperament and unwavering loyalty.
Are they purebred?
Yes! Both Big Biscuit and Huney are AKC registered with proud lineages. Their heritage is something we treasure, connecting them to generations of beautiful Newfoundlands.
Where did they come from?
Big Biscuit joined our family from Ohio, while Huney traveled all the way from New York. Both journeys brought incredible joy into our lives.
How old are they?
Big Biscuit was born on April 28, 2024, and Huney arrived on July 30, 2024. They're growing up together and their bond is truly special.
What colors are they?
Big Biscuit is a stunning platinum (gray) and white—a beautifully rare coloring that makes him one of a kind. Huney is a gorgeous dark charcoal gray that's equally captivating.
Why did you choose Newfoundlands?
We fell in love with the Newfoundland breed for their gentle, loyal nature and remarkable intelligence. Newfies are known as "nanny dogs" for their natural love of children, making them perfect companions for families. Their calm demeanor and big hearts captured ours completely.
Which one is your favorite?
Two Newfies = One Love. We couldn't possibly choose—they each bring their own magic to our family, and together they make our home complete.
Do you have any other dogs?
Yes! Georgia, our sweet 14-year-old Golden Doodle, is the wise elder of our pack. She's been with us through so much, and watching her with the Newfies is pure joy.
